"Sree Ayyappa Seva Samithi, Daman" is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in the year 2003 with an aim to construct a temple for "LORD SREE AYYAPPA" and other religious activities, with the help & assistance from the devotees and blessing of "Lord Sree Ayyappa", the Samiti has succeeded to purchase the land admeasuring 220 sq mts on the western side of the Bypass Road, Dunetha, Nani Daman.

The construction works of SREE AYYAPPA TEMPLE has been entrusted to M/s. Neelakanda Idol Works, Chenganoor, Kerala headed by Kshetram Shilpi Shri Sadasivan Achary. As per the guidance from the "Kshetram Thantri" - Shri Pandhalakodu Manayil Bhramashree Srinivasan Namboothiri, four days special pooja were held from 27th to 30th August, 2010 and the Shadadhara Prathishta has been held on 03rd February, 2012. On completion of construction of SREEKOVIL, the Prathishta of "Lord Ayyappa" has also been held on 2nd March, 2012. The pooja is being performed daily thereafter.

The works of Temples for Sree Ganapathi, Durga Devi, Subrahamanian (Karthik ), Navgraha and Chuttambalam is in progress. With full support and continuous help from devotees / well-wishers coupled with sincere efforts and with the grace of LORD AYYAPPA, we are highly confident and hopeful of completion of the project shortly. We need substantial funds to achieve this noble cause and approach and request all of you to continue your whole hearted co-operation and support including generous donations.
